Ingredients
- 1 medium head Napa cabbage (about 1.5 lbs), chopped
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- Start by washing the Napa cabbage thoroughly under cold water. Chop the cabbage into bite-sized pieces, discarding any very thick stems.
- Chop the bell pepper into slices and set aside. Mince the garlic and ginger finely.
- In a large wok or frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger to the pan and stir-fry for about 30 seconds or until they are fragrant. Be careful not to let them burn.
- Add the sliced bell pepper to the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they begin to soften.
- Add the chopped Napa cabbage to the pan. Stir-fry for another 5-7 minutes until the cabbage is wilted but still has a slight crunch.
- Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Stir well to ensure the vegetables are coated with the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper according to your taste.
- Remove from heat and stir in the chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish. Serve hot.
