  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the vegetable oil, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, cumin, paprika, oregano, chili powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix well to form a marinade.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a gallon-size resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight, for the best flavor infusion.
