Ingredients

  • 8 oz lo mein noodles
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
  • 8 oz beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 red bell pepper, julienned
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 2 carrots, julienned
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the lo mein noodles and cook according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Set aside.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the beef slices to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they are just cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the chicken slices and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  6. Add the shrimp to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  7. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the skillet. Add the garlic and ginger and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  8. Add the broccoli, snap peas, red bell pepper, and carrots to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  9. Return the beef, chicken, and shrimp to the skillet. Add the cooked noodles. Pour the sauce over the mixture and toss to combine.
  10. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and well combined.
  11. Add the sliced green onions and a pinch of black pepper. Toss everything one more time and serve immediately.
