Ingredients
- 4 sea bass fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high, approximately 400°F. If using a charcoal grill, ensure the coals are white-hot.
- Rinse and pat dry the sea bass fillets with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper to taste.
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. Mix well.
- Brush the mixture evenly over each side of the sea bass fillets. A silicone brush works best for an even coating.
- Place the fillets on a grill-safe pan or directly on the grill grates skin-side down. Grill for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the skin is crispy.
- Using a large spatula, carefully flip the fillets. Add lemon slices over the top and grill for an additional 5 to 7 minutes. The fish should be opaque and flake easily with a fork when done.
- Remove the fillets from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes. Resting helps retain the juices.
- Serve the grilled sea bass garnished with additional parsley. Pair it with your favorite sides for a complete meal.
