Ingredients
- 8 pork sausages
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F). This is very important to ensure even cooking.
- Using a pastry brush or clean hands, lightly coat the sausages with olive oil. This will help them crisp up and prevent sticking.
- Sprinkle the sausages evenly with salt and black pepper. Doing this beforehand enhances their flavor.
- Place the sausages on the preheated grill. You should hear a gentle sizzle when they hit the grill grates.
- Cook the sausages for about 10 minutes on one side, then turn them over using tongs.
- Continue grilling the other side for another 10 minutes until they are golden brown and cooked through completely. Use a meat thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 160°F.
- Once done, remove the sausages from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. Resting helps keep them juicy.
- Optional: Garnish with chopped fresh parsley for added color and flavor.
- Tip: If you’re grilling a large batch, keep the cooked sausages warm on a low-heat side of the grill while finishing the rest.
