Ingredients
- 2 pounds pork neck
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 lemon, sliced
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, honey, salt, black pepper, thyme, and smoked paprika. Mix well to create a marinade.
- Place the pork neck in a large shallow dish or a large resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the pork, ensuring it’s well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish with plastic wrap.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, approximately 375°F to 400°F.
- Remove the pork neck from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off. Let the pork sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before grilling.
- Place the pork neck on the grill. Cook for about 15-20 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
- Once cooked, remove the pork from the grill and let it rest for at least 5 minutes.
- Slice the rested pork neck against the grain. Garnish with lemon slices before serving.
