Ingredients

  • 2 pounds pork neck
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 lemon, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, honey, salt, black pepper, thyme, and smoked paprika. Mix well to create a marinade.
  2. Place the pork neck in a large shallow dish or a large resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the pork, ensuring it’s well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish with plastic wrap.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, approximately 375°F to 400°F.
  4. Remove the pork neck from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off. Let the pork sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before grilling.
  5. Place the pork neck on the grill. Cook for about 15-20 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  6. Once cooked, remove the pork from the grill and let it rest for at least 5 minutes.
  7. Slice the rested pork neck against the grain. Garnish with lemon slices before serving.
