Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons white truffle oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 ounce white truffle shavings or truffle paste (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and freshly ground black pepper on both sides.
  3. In a large oven-proof skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is shimmering, carefully add the chicken breasts to the skillet.
  4. Sear the chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
  5. Reduce the heat to medium, and in the same skillet, add the butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Add the chicken broth to the skillet, scraping the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon to deglaze and release any browned bits.
  7. Stir in the heavy cream and white truffle oil, then bring the mixture to a simmer.
  8. Return the chicken breasts to the skillet. Spoon some of the sauce over each piece, then transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
  9. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  10. Remove the skillet from the oven. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
  11. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and optional white truffle shavings before serving.
