Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh oregano, chopped
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Get a good baking dish ready, something that’ll hold the chicken comfortably.
- Take your beautiful chicken breasts and give them a light pat dry with a paper towel. You want them dry so they can soak up all the seasoning.
- In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, salt, pepper, fresh and dried oregano, and minced garlic. This is your magic potion, smell it, it’s heavenly.
- Rub this divine mixture all over the chicken breasts. They’ve gotta be well-coated, really get in there.
- Lay the chicken in your baking dish. Now, pour the lemon juice over them, let it mingle with the herbs and garlic.
- In another small bowl, combine your breadcrumbs with Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle this generously over the chicken, like you’re tucking it into a crispy bed.
- Slide the dish into your preheated oven and let it bake for about 30-35 minutes. Chicken should be cooked through with a nice golden crust. You can peek in around the 30-minute mark.
- Once done, let it rest a few minutes before serving. The flavors need to settle, and so do we before enjoying a great meal.
- Serve each piece with a spoonful of the juices from the bottom of the dish. It’s like a bonus sauce.
