Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh oregano, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Get a good baking dish ready, something that’ll hold the chicken comfortably.
  2. Take your beautiful chicken breasts and give them a light pat dry with a paper towel. You want them dry so they can soak up all the seasoning.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, salt, pepper, fresh and dried oregano, and minced garlic. This is your magic potion, smell it, it’s heavenly.
  4. Rub this divine mixture all over the chicken breasts. They’ve gotta be well-coated, really get in there.
  5. Lay the chicken in your baking dish. Now, pour the lemon juice over them, let it mingle with the herbs and garlic.
  6. In another small bowl, combine your breadcrumbs with Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle this generously over the chicken, like you’re tucking it into a crispy bed.
  7. Slide the dish into your preheated oven and let it bake for about 30-35 minutes. Chicken should be cooked through with a nice golden crust. You can peek in around the 30-minute mark.
  8. Once done, let it rest a few minutes before serving. The flavors need to settle, and so do we before enjoying a great meal.
  9. Serve each piece with a spoonful of the juices from the bottom of the dish. It’s like a bonus sauce.
