Ingredients
- 1 pound (450g) mixed seafood (shrimp, scallops, mussels, etc.)
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) unsalted butter
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup (120ml) dry white wine
- 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup (60ml) grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the shallot and garlic, and sauté until softened.
- Add the mixed seafood and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the seafood is partially cooked.
- Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes to reduce slightly.
- Stir in the heavy cream and flour. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
- Transfer the seafood mixture to an oven-safe casserole dish. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
