Ingredients
- 1 pound (450g) ground pork
- 1 cup (240ml) Swiss chard, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup (120ml) spinach, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup (120ml) breadcrumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) fresh thyme leaves
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) fresh rosemary, chopped
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) olive oil
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, Swiss chard, spinach, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Mix well until evenly combined.
- Shape the mixture into small patties or meatballs, about 2 inches in diameter.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the caillettes and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the skillet and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
