Ingredients

  • 2 cups glutinous rice flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 and 3/4 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: 1/4 cup sweetened red bean paste or fruit jam for filling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). This ensures that the cake will bake evenly once the mixture is ready.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of glutinous rice flour and 1 cup of granulated sugar. Mix well until they are thoroughly combined.
