  • 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, use a wooden spoon to cream together the butter and sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy. If you don’t have a wooden spoon, any sturdy spoon will work.
  3. Add the vanilla extract to the butter and sugar mixture and mix until well incorporated.

  5. Fold in the chopped walnuts using a spatula until the nuts are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
