Ingredients
- 12 breadsticks (about 10 inches long each)
- 12 slices prosciutto (thinly sliced)
- Optional: freshly cracked black pepper or grated Parmesan for garnish
Instructions
- Lay out all the breadsticks on a cutting board or a clean, flat surface. This makes it easier to work quickly and efficiently.
- Take one slice of prosciutto and lay it flat on the cutting board. If the slices are too long, you may cut them in half to better fit the length of the breadsticks.
- Beginning at one end of a breadstick, gently wrap the prosciutto around the breadstick in a spiral pattern, overlapping slightly to ensure the breadstick is mostly covered. The prosciutto should cling to the breadstick naturally without much effort.
- Repeat the wrapping process for all the remaining breadsticks and prosciutto slices. Arrange the wrapped breadsticks neatly on a serving platter.
- For added flavor, you can optionally sprinkle freshly cracked black pepper or a small amount of grated Parmesan over the wrapped breadsticks.
- Serve immediately to maintain the crispness of the breadsticks. If you need to make them ahead of time, keep them covered until ready to serve to prevent drying out.
