Ingredients
- 1 ripe cantaloupe melon
- 8 slices of prosciutto
- Freshly cracked black pepper (optional)

- Now, make sure you’ve got your ripe cantaloupe on a sturdy cutting board, my dear. Carefully slice it in half and scoop out those seeds, just like you would when preparing a watermelon for a picnic.
- Next, continue by cutting each half into crescent-shaped slices, about a quarter of an inch thick is just nice. You should have lovely, neat crescents of melon now.
- Lay out your slices of prosciutto, all nice and even. Wrap each slice of prosciutto generously around the middle of each melon slice. Don’t be shy with it, we want each bite to sing with flavor, mind you.
- Arrange your wrapped melon slices neatly on a pretty serving platter. It should look as inviting as a Tuscan sunset.
- If you fancy a bit of a kick, a light sprinkle of freshly cracked black pepper on top will do just the trick, but that’s entirely up to your taste.
