Ingredients

  • 12 large white mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy clean-up.
  2. Clean the mushrooms by gently wiping them with a damp paper towel. Remove the stems carefully and set the mushroom caps aside.
  3. Chop the stems finely and place them in a mixing bowl. This will add extra flavor to the filling.
  4. In the mixing bowl with the mushroom stems, add the olive oil, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and dried oregano. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
