Ingredients

  • 4 ounces sliced turkey breast
  • 4 ounces sliced ham
  • 4 ounces sliced salami
  • 4 ounces sliced roast beef
  • 4 ounces sliced prosciutto
  • 4 ounces cheddar cheese, thinly sliced
  • 4 ounces Swiss cheese, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup assorted olives
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cup assorted pickles
  • 1/2 loaf French baguette, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons whole grain mustard
  • 2 tablespoons honey mustard

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients and make sure they are properly chilled. A cold platter will taste fresher.
  2. Place the turkey, ham, salami, roast beef, and prosciutto each in separate sections on a large serving platter. Try to fold or roll the slices for a more appealing presentation.
  3. Arrange the cheddar and Swiss cheese slices in a fan shape beside the cold cuts. This makes them easier to pick up and looks attractive.
  4. Fill small bowls with olives, cherry tomatoes, and assorted pickles. Place these bowls directly on the platter, or around it if the platter is full.
  5. Slice half a loaf of French baguette into rounds, approximately 1/2 inch thick. Lay these slices strategically around the platter.
  6. Spoon whole grain mustard and honey mustard into separate small condiment bowls and place them on the platter.
  7. Ensure everything is arranged aesthetically on the platter. You want to create a balance of colors and textures.
  8. Serve immediately while the ingredients are still chilled, or cover with plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator if serving later.
